Caring for your silk
At Jocelyn Banks, we believe luxury should be part of your everyday routine, not a chore. To keep your silk accessories looking beautiful, you can care for them just as we do in the studio:
- The Wash: Either wash by hand in cool water or pop them into the washing machine on a handwash or delicate setting (30°C). We highly recommend using a mesh laundry bag to protect the delicate bow details. Always use a specialist silk or delicate liquid detergent
- The Dry: Gently press out excess water (never wring or tumble dry) and lay flat to air dry
- The Finish: For that flawless, boutique look, iron while the fabric is still slightly damp using a cool silk setting
- Studio Secret: A light spritz of a silicone fabric spray before ironing will give your pillowcase a beautiful, crisp structure while keeping it completely soft to the touch
